Earlier this week, we asked fans if Michigan deserves a College Football Playoff berth with a win over Ohio State. And now the results are in.
91% of fans think Michigan should make the playoffs with a win over OSU. If No. 15 Michigan (9-2) were to beat No. 1 Ohio State (11-0), it would be arguably the best win any team has had this season. No other team has beaten the defending national champions, and if Michigan was to do so, a 10-2 Michigan team would likely be too hard for the CFP selection committee to pass up. Even if Michigan doesn’t make it to the Big Ten Championship (Indiana and Oregon currently have tie-breakers over Michigan), that shouldn’t disqualify Michigan from the postseason.

However, the same ESPN analytics continues to doubt Michigan year after year, even with Michigan currently having a four-game winning streak over Ohio State.
