Patriots reveal uniforms ahead of primetime game against Giants

The New England Patriots will be donning their beloved throwback red uniforms for Monday's primetime game against the visiting New York Giants.

It's a third straight week the team is wearing an alternate version of their uniforms. They participated in the Nike Rivalry uniform twist for the Thursday Night Football game against the New York Jets, and then they were "iced out" in all white against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Now, they'll be wearing the red jerseys and white pinstriped pants for a pivotal game against the Giants. It'll be the final game before the team embarks on their bye week, and then they'll return for back-to-back games against the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.

The Patriots will be looking for their ninth straight victory and improving their overall record this season to 10-2, while the Giants haven't won a game since early October. They are a two-win team that has still managed to give significantly more talented teams trouble in games.

We'll see if that trend continues in Foxborough against the Patriots.
