The Kentucky Wildcats have picked up another junior college prospect. This time, it was 3-star safety Da’Mare Williams who committed to Kentucky on Black Friday, he announced on Twitter through KSR. It comes just two days after Kentucky landed JUCO cornerback Braxton Urquhart.
A native of Sylva, North Carolina, Williams was originally a 3-star high school recruit in the class of 2024 who held scholarship offers from Virginia Tech, UConn, East Carolina, Appalachian State, Marshall, and Miami (OH), among others.

Williams visited Kentucky on November 25, and three days later, he committed to the Wildcats. He’s currently ranked 47th among JUCO recruits and fifth among JUCO safeties, according to 247 Sports.
