Milan sealed a narrow 1-0 victory over their neighbourhood rivals Inter in their previous outing, thanks to Mike Maignan’s heroics, who saved a Hakan Calhanoglu penalty, and Christian Pulisic’s second-half goal. The win extended the Rossoneri’s unbeaten run to 12 consecutive games and in second place in the league standings, just two points away from leaders Roma, who play on Sunday.

With five wins, three draws, and four losses this campaign, Lazio have acquired 18 points across the board as they sit in eighth place in the Serie A table behind Juventus.
Despite being a long way from a top-four challenge, Maurizio Sarri deserves the credits for navigating the club through a tough situation where they have been banned from making transfers.

The Rossoneri’s top scorer Christian Pulisic might have to sit this one out due to a minor injury. Allegri is expected to start with Rafael Leao and Christopher Nkunku up front.

As for Lazio, Sarri will be without Samuel Gigot, Matteo Cancellieri and Nicolo Rovella. Taty Castellanos will need some more time to recover.
