It appears some Las Vegas Raiders fans want to see Aidan O’Connell climb the quarterback depth chart for the rest of this season.
Sunday, in his first game being on the 53-man roster this season, the third-year quarterback was the No. 3, emergency quarterback Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Thus, the only way he could have played in the game had their been injuries to starter Geno Smith and backup Kenny Pickett.

Earlier this week, we asked put community members would they rather have Pickett or O’Connell as the No. 2. About 60 percent of the voters were behind O’Connell.
Perhaps under interim offensive coordinator Greg Olson, that change will be made soon.

For next year, O’Connell is a valuable backup. Don’t get him hurt coming back now. The season is over.

We have seen what we need to see out of Geno. At this point make Aidan #1.
If the plan is to roll with Pete next year and Geno is obviously his guy then rolling with him makes sense as sad as it is. He’s Pete’s guy. As long as we are stuck with Pete, we are stuck with fan hating Geno.
John Reinert
Yes, he is the most efficient of all the QB’s.
