The Brooklyn Nets (3-14) have had a few days to rest since their last game when they suffered yet another blowout loss at the hands of their in-state rival in the New York Knicks. Brooklyn still has a lot of the season left to go with their next matchup post-Thanksgiving break being in an NBA Cup matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers (9-8) and if you're wondering how you can watch all the action live, you've come to the right place!

The Nets come into this game following a 113-100 loss to the Knicks on Monday in which Brooklyn was competitive until the third quarter when New York pulled away thanks to the offers of center Karl-Anthony Towns and guard Jalen Brunson. Forward Noah Clowney had the best game of his career with 31 points and four rebounds while forward Michael Porter Jr. had 16 points in a rare sub-par performance for the sharpshooter.

The 76ers enter this matchup after a 144-103 loss to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday in which the game turned into an absolute demolition in the second quarter for Orlando as Philadelphia couldn't keep up. Guard Tyrese Maxey led the way for the 76ers with 20 points and four assists while guard Jared McCain contributed 15 points and three assists off the bench.

Advice and Prediction

The Nets went into Thanksgiving break with one of their tougher losses of the season as they seemed to be heading in the wrong direction after a convincing win over a solid Boston Celtics team. Now that Brooklyn is out of contention for the NBA Cup, the Nets just have to continue to play with the pride and energy that head coach Jordi Fernandez wants from his team regardless of what is at stake.

The 76ers are in a different spot compared to the Nets as they are competing for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but are dealing with some injuries at the moment. Center Joel Embiid did play for Philadelphia at one point this season, but he will be missing his ninth straight game with his latest knee issue and forward Paul George is now dealing with an ankle injury after having offseason surgery on his knee.

The Nets and 76ers rank in the bottom half of the league in terms of offensive rating, defensive rating, and in pace so this could be a matchup that goes either way depending on which team is ready to go after Thanksgiving. With Brooklyn missing Cam Thomas and Porter, scoring will come at a premium for the Nets and this will be the first time that the team has had neither player available this season.
