McLaren's Oscar Piastri showed he is not done yet in the title race as he went quickest in the only practice session for the Qatar Grand Prix on Friday.
Team-mate Lando Norris can win his maiden Formula One title this weekend if results go his way, but Piastri set a fastest lap of 1 minute 20.924 seconds to throw down the gauntlet.

Briton Norris was second on the timesheets, just 0.058 behind, with Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso third.
Qualifying for the season's final sprint race takes place later, with the sprint on Saturday followed by qualifying for Sunday's full race.
Norris leads Piastri and four-time Max Verstappen by 24 points with just the Abu Dhabi race left after Qatar.
