The Blue Hens have been much better at home than on the road in their debut FBS-level season.
Should they continue that trend Nov. 29, it could net them quite a prize.
Delaware (5-6 overall, 3-4 Conference USA) hosts Texas-El Paso (2-9, 1-6) in the regular-season finale. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. at Delaware Stadium.

The Hens are 4-1 at home and 1-5 on the road this year. They have also lost two straight, including a 26-23 setback against Sam Houston State, which had been winless in CUSA, and a 52-14 drubbing at ACC member Wake Forest. Both were road games.

Delaware has not lost three straight games in Ryan Carty’s four seasons as coach.
“We certainly could have seven or eight wins,” Carty said, “and we could also certainly have three to four wins. This conference has been so close.”
